Hi Dearheart. What a glorious day. I cried through the inaugural speech, in a laundromat with 50 or so other Oaklanders. That's 'cause we couldn't make it into the theater across the street -- it was full. The Oracle Arena, Richmond Civic Auditorium, Civic Center of San Francisco and hundreds of smaller venues were packed with folks who wanted to celebrate, weep and dance together...I can't believe that things that I've felt for -- seems like forever -- were being said by OUR new president. OUR new president.
