It's late January in the rustbelt, the lousiest time of year, I have a virus that's making me feel like junk, and this song just about says it all for me.

Um...there is no music on this video. Are you being ironic? Am I being daft? (shuffles feet)
I heard music...you poor thing. Hope you feel better soon.. I got the asthma flare up right now. It sucks being under the weather. No magic pills to make us better though. "I'm not dead I'm in Pittsburg." Ha.
Hat: No irony here. Too under the weather for irony. Was your volume up? The song is called "I'm not dead, I'm in Pittsburgh." Me poking fun at myself and at the city I've lived in for 15 years, but refuse to call home.
Sageweb: Asthma. Suddenly I'm feeling all motherly. Got your inhaler? Don't exert yourself. Call me if you need to and I'll come get you. Oh. Oops. That's what your mom is supposed to say. So just take care, hon.
Sorry about the virus, that sucks. I know what boat you're in; I think I got Norovirus a couple weeks ago. It's like 36-hour food poisoning, and it was when a nasty storm knocked out our power for ... that's right! 36 hours!
We're still neck deep in our 40 degree California winter storms. At least you can have snowball fights out there.
Will T: Your mom and dad told me about that norovirus. Extra bad timing on your part. Gotta wait to get those viruses when the heat's on. Also, no snowballs here. That's the special thing about winter in the Burgh. Just enough "wintry mix" to make it icky and icy, not enough to play in.
Cowbell: Do you think, if Hillary were to get elected, she'd do that for us? Make it into law that moms don't get sick, or if they do, that social services will provide a helper to do all the million things we have to do whether we're sick or not? My particular joy right now is having nausea and making food for kids at the same time! Yay!
Willym: I'm doing my best, and the husband's home today, so that's nice.
